Midcentury solid walnut 2-piece multi-functional chest of drawers / credenda / cupboard attributed to D.R. Bates for Vista of California. Top cupboard unit measures 61" L x 18" D x 23" H and bottom credenza measures 61" L x 18" D x 29" H. The units could be used separately or stacked (as show in the pictures). The piece measures 52" high stacked. Brass hardware connects the units.
